Job Summary
Infinity Contracting Services Corp is actively seeking a highly motivated Billing Administrator to join our team in College Point, NY.
The Billing Administrator is responsible for organized, timely, and accurate billing to our clients.
The position will provide administrative support and assistance needed to help maintain day-to-day work efficiency within the department.
Responsibilities and Duties
Monitor unbilled hours and paperwork to ensure prompt billing.
Analyze billing materials for compliance with client guidelines
Follow client-specific billing procedures, including fee agreements and union labor rates
Work closely with support staff to resolve any account receivable issues and ensure bills are accurate and complete.
Prepare spreadsheets and reports as needed.
Draft, finalize, and post bills in the company's accounting software.
Maintain billing files.
Prepare rate sheets based on Unions' wage rates as needed.
Prepare and submit Time and Material / Emergency contract billing packages as needed.
Record and prepare certified payrolls.
Review, record, and approve Subcontract billing packages.
Prepare monthly job costs for all emergency contracts and supporting information for the department.
Collection of outstanding accounts receivables invoices.
Qualifications and Skills Please note: The list below is preferred but not required.
We are willing to train.
Time and Material billing experience preferred
HVAC industry experience preferred
Certified payroll preparation experience preferred
PLA, prevailing wage, and union wage rate knowledge preferred
Five years of similar billing experience preferred; DOE experience a plus
Knowledge of PLA, prevailing wage, and union wage rates preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
