A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN EARLY CHILDHOOD ASSISTANT DIRECTOR
As an Early Childhood Assistant Director with our human services nonprofit, you're responsible for supervising the daily operations of our child care program.
Your main tasks include supervising staff, maintaining program census, sustaining adequate staff coverage, and admitting or discharging children.
You also assist with the transition and inclusion of children with special needs or disabilities into our child care program as well as input each new child's data and update current data.
Using your teaching and education knowledge, you provide resources, referral information, and support to classroom teachers to ensure our services run smoothly.
In addition, you design and implement intergenerational programs between departments or groups.
As required, you complete billing paperwork for our various funding sources as well as manage client statements and payments for the program.
You also maintain and submit all statistics and reports required by internal and external sources.
Using your exceptional leadership skills, you supervise our volunteers and maintain our professional activities.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN EARLY CHILDHOOD ASSISTANT DIRECTOR
Bachelor's degree
Certified in Infant/Child CPR, CPR, and first aid
A master's degree would be a plus.
At least two years of experience working with children is preferred, but multiple factors will be taken into consideration.
