- Plan and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for children in a daycare or classroom setting
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Foster the development of social, emotional, cognitive, and physical skills in children
- Teach literacy education, including reading, writing, and language skills
- Incorporate physical education activities to promote gross motor skills and overall health
- Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of students with special education requirements
- Utilize behavior management techniques to create a positive and productive learning environment
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to support student learning and development

A degree in early childhood education or a related field is preferred, but not required.
