NYC Immigration Law Firm is looking for an experienced Paralegal to join our team.
Our Law Firm handles all aspects of immigration law with concentration in, asylum cases, immigration related litigation, family-based immigration, family court.
Experience in Immigration Law and processing SIJS, DEFENSIVE Asylum cases is a must.
Duties:
* Prepare submission for Court in removal and Asylum cases.
* organizing and maintaining immigration case files, and tracking key deadlines and milestones;
* Assist with preparation of forms, Affidavits, and other supporting materials in SIJS and removal cases.
* drafting and preparing immigration forms, affidavits and supporting documentation;
* coordinating with attorneys to prepare for hearings, interviews and filings;
* conducting research on immigration laws and policies and staying updated on relevant changes in the law;
* Preparation of SIJS Petitions for submission to New York Family Courts;
Interested candidate MUST:
* Have at least 2 years of experience in handling family-based immigration, Asylums and SIJS.
* Have at least 2 years of experience in preparing Waiver Applications and writing Affidavits.
* Be detail-oriented, have good verbal and written communication skills
