Position Summary:
As an industry leader in wholesale, retail, and residential food distribution, Baldor Specialty Foods continues to grow and evolve at a rapid pace across all departments.
The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations on the warehouse floor while increasing productivity and revenue.
Workflow:
Receive Cross Dock of Orders from 6 BNY Trailers
Coordinate and Dispatch BNY Backhauls
Manage Daily Delivery and Service Issues as They Occur
Communicate with Senior Manager as Required

Plan, monitor, and manage actual performance against operational budget which includes proper management of department staffing levels and hours worked
Review, track, and analyze key performance indicators such as order filling errors, on-time dispatches, productivity, and overall service levels.
Develop and implement plans for improvement in these areas.
Lead operational initiatives to ensure shipping accuracy goals are met
Ensure superior onboarding and training of new crew members
Responsible for forklift, jack, and truck maintenance
Manage daily/weekly time sheets, vacation requests and sick time
Move trucks to and from loading docks and arrange in orderly and convenient manner
Manage the order selection/cross dock process and workflow to ensure timely dispatch of routes
Manage the safety of crew members and facility cleanliness
Manage and upkeep the USDA, SQF and other audits
Aid the Operations Manager on special projects
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bilingual (English/Spanish preferred)
Strong knowledge of transportation and related warehouse equipment
General computer skills (outlook, warehouse management, excel, Kronos)
5+ years of Distribution Center Management experience.
5+ years of warehouse/produce experience a plus.
Effective communication skills (email/teams/phone)
3 years of management/supervisory experience preferably in a large, high volume food warehouse / distribution center environment.
Must possess strong leadership, problem solving, decision making, good judgment, strong interpersonal skills, passion to serve, desire for improvement, excellent communication skills.
Ability to work on your feet for most of the day, repetitive bending, lifting to 50 lbs.
and moving 100 lbs.
Able to work in cold warehouse environment (36°F – 38°F).
