POSITION SUMMARY:
Oversee the accurate and timely completion of all route accounting and cashiering on a daily basis.
Understand all night accounting systems; provide leadership, guidance and training as necessary.
To improve upon existing systems, procedures, and controls.
REPRESENTATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES:
The following responsibilities are general duties that a particular employee in this position may or may not be required to perform.
The actual duties required of this position will vary.
Oversee the accurate and timely completion of all route accounting and cashiering on a daily basis.
Directs the work of and supervises employees, including hiring, training, scheduling, performance management and other related issues.
Sets performance standards to meet or exceed service goals.
Coordinates the accounting and business process transaction activities so that all functions are in compliance with Company procedures and policies.
Trains and develops staff and reviews their work for accuracy.
Develops, processes, and/or validates accounting and business transactional activities as assigned or required to meet objectives.
Ensures that internal control procedures are adhered to.
Maintains well organized files containing applicable office records relating to accounting and business transactions.
Responds to service requests or requirements in a prompt, professional and courteous manner.
Exercises judgment in resolving issues.
Reviews completeness of documents received from operations and/or other departments, as required.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Travel is necessary between NY and Norfolk, VA
EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION:
Equivalent of either (1) high school diploma or G.
E.
D.
certification and 8 years related accounting experience OR (2) a BS in Accounting, Finance, or Business and 10 years related accounting experience.
Experience with confidential files, documents and other information.
5+ year supervisory or lead experience.
Related training or certification.
COMPENSATION RANGE:
Potential earning is from $90,700.
00 to $115,000.
00 annually
