Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of scientific nursing principles
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Monitor and document patient's progress and respond to any changes in their condition
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
- Educate patients and their families on disease processes, treatment plans, and self-care techniques
- Ensure the privacy and confidentiality of patient information
Skills:
- Strong clinical skills in medical/surgical nursing
- Must have 2 years Med/Surg experience
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle emergency situations
13 week contract , Day shifts x3 12 hour shifts per week, $70 per hour
