* *Job Title: *RN - Cancer Center- Infusion * *Skills: *Two years of Med/surg chemo infusion experience is requiredIV insertion and phlebotomy skills are required * *Education: *Required: New York State RN License, Primary Source Verification, AHA BLS, * *Shift Time: *7:00 AM - 7:30 PM * *Job Duration: *3Months *Description:* * Administers chemotherapy, hydration and other medications under the direction and supervision of a physician.

Completes all chemotherapy charge forms * Training patients in the self-administration of treatments, particularly how to quickly recognize and respond to symptoms of adverse physical reactions to treatments * Collaborating and conferring with the appropriate branch staff regarding patient status and treatment needs * Documenting all interactions and communication with patients, plan of treatment (POT), including assessment, treatments, patient responses/reactions to treatment, status of disease process and training activities using an electronic hand held device in a timely manner * Determining the best course of action for aiding a patient in distress * Presenting yourself in a clinically professional manner at all times) * Ensure optimal healthcare services are readily accessible at all times * Rotate responsibilities depending on hospital needs * Perform delegated duties consistent with the scope of practice Job Types: Contract, Full-time Pay: $85.
