Responsible for performing a variety of clerical functions which include but are not limited to; Registration, Insurance Verification, Money Collection, Collection of Documentation, referral of patient to the Medicaid and Financial Aid units so as to ensure the efficient operation of the various departments within HSR.
Responsib le for billing accounts once insurance information has been secured, while maintaining all Customer Service and departmental Guidelines.
High School Diploma or GED is a must with college course work preferred,and preferred experience in collection and/ or insurance verification.
Must be experienced in providing excellent customer service and problem escalat ion/resolut ion in high volume atmosphere.
Candidates must have str ong communication skills, both verbal and written, with excellent telephone and face to face communication.
Must be able to work independently and get along with other s.
Must successfully pass pre-hire assessment s;Math, grammar / vocabulary & customer service wit h a score of 80%or above.
