In this role, you will learn and grow while aiding in store functions such as:
* Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the flower shop, including sweeping, dusting, and organizing shelves and workspaces
* Processing flower shipments, including unpacking boxes, cutting and trimming stems, and preparing flowers for the designers making the arrangements
* Assisting Floral Designers with design and prep work, such as assembling arrangements and preparing vases
* Providing exceptional customer service, including greeting customers, answering questions, offering recommendations, and taking orders for flowers and arrangements.
* Managing inventory, including tracking stock levels and ordering supplies as needed
* Ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment of all customer orders
* Handling cash and credit card transactions, and maintaining accurate records of sales and transactions
* Maintaining a clean and organized work environment, including washing and sterilizing tools and equipment after each use
* Adhering to all safety protocols and ensuring a safe and hazard-free work environment
We offer competitive pay rates starting at $16.
00 - $17.
00 per hour, and a flexible schedule to ensure a healthy work-life balance.
Higher pay rates available for floral designers with relevant experience, and pay can increase relative to experience.
