*SENIOR PLANT/OPERATIONS MANAGER*

*POSITION OVERVIEW*
The Senior Plant/Operations Manager is an experienced leader with extensive experience in food manufacturing and production.
They will provide strategic leadership and direction to the entire plant operation, including purchasing, inventory, production, warehousing, shipping, facilities and equipment maintenance, and sanitation to safely ensure the delivery of high-quality products in a timely and cost-efficient manner.
They will drive process improvements and optimization initiatives to increase operational efficiency, reduce waste, and improve overall plant performance.
The Senior Plant/Operations Manager will have full authority of the production floor and will report directly to the CEO.
This individual will be expected to physically be on site, spend 50% of their time on the production floor, and may be required to work evening and/or weekend hours.

*POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES*
* Manage a diverse cross-functional team; foster a mutually supportive and respectful atmosphere through effective communication, positive motivation, and built trust.
* Manage staffing and scheduling, hiring, training, and performance management for employees.
* Ensure safe, efficient, and timely production of material within budget and to quality specifications.
* Ensure full compliance with all applicable Federal and State laws and regulations, as well as Company policies and standards related to safety, quality, and workplace conduct.
* Utilize production software to create production schedule; responsible for managing all aspects of production software.
* Complete regular reporting: production tracking and inventory.
* Forecast equipment replacement and upgrade schedule based on sales forecasts, capacity planning, and critical path analysis.
* Oversee all aspects of inventory management.
* Serve as primary contact for all maintenance and equipment issues.
* Oversee maintenance and sanitation of production, storage, lunch, and outside areas.
* Utilizes operational metrics to analyze productivity, identify issues, and set performance targets to achieve production goals.
*SKILLS / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS*
*Education & Experience*
* High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
* 10-15 years’ experience in food manufacturing.
* 5+ years’ experience in food production.
* Excellent leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse workforce.
* Knowledge and experience with food safety guidelines and regulations.
* Experience working with manufacturing budgets.
*Skills*
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
* Comfortable working knowledge of Google email & calendar and Microsoft Suite.
* Knowledge of PRIMS and Sage ERP Accpac preferred.
* Ability to develop, follow, and maintain production systems and procedures, as well as ability to use statistical analysis to track performance of such systems.
* Highly organized and detail oriented.
* Should be able to lift 20-30 lbs.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $120,000.
00 - $160,000.
